Working with the Kanban Board

Overview

The Kanban board gives you a visual overview of all issues organized by status. Drag and drop to move issues between columns.

Columns

The board has four columns matching issue statuses:

• Todo: Work not yet started
• In Progress: Currently being worked on
• Review: Ready for review or testing
• Done: Completed work

Accessing the Kanban Board

1. Open Panel Todo in VS Code
2. Switch to the Issues tab
3. Click the Kanban view toggle

Moving Issues

Drag and drop: Click and drag an issue card to a different column.

Filtering the Board

Filter issues to focus on what matters:

• By Sprint: Show only current sprint issues
• By Priority: Focus on high/critical items
• By Tag: Filter by category

Issue Cards

Each card shows:

• Issue key (e.g., PT-42)
• Title
• Priority indicator
• Tags

Click a card to view full details and add comments.

Best Practices

• Limit WIP: Keep "In Progress" small (1-3 items)
• Review regularly: Move completed work to Done daily
• Use sprints: Filter to current sprint for focus
