Information We Collect

Free Tier (Local Storage)

When using the free tier, your todos are stored locally in VS Code's workspace storage. We do not collect or transmit this data. Your todos remain entirely on your device.

Pro Tier (Cloud Sync)

When you subscribe to Panel Todo Pro, we collect:

Email address: Used for authentication and account management
Todos and issues: Synced to our servers for cloud storage and cross-device access
Projects and sprints: Organizational data you create
Usage analytics: Feature usage to improve the product (no todo content)

How We Use Your Information

Service provision: To provide cloud sync, issue tracking, and Pro features
Account management: To authenticate you and manage your subscription
Product improvement: Aggregated analytics to improve Panel Todo
Customer support: To respond to your inquiries

We do not sell your data to third parties. Your todos and issues are your data, and we will never share them with advertisers or other parties.

Data Storage and Security

Pro tier data is stored on servers located in the European Union via Fly.io. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
Encrypted data at rest
Secure authentication tokens stored in VS Code's secrets API
Regular security updates and monitoring

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe handles all payment information directly; we never see or store your card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Cookies

We use minimal, functional cookies only. These are essential for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days in case you resubscribe, then permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time.

Panel Todo is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or through the extension. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
