How to permanently delete your Panel Todo account

Overview

You can permanently delete your Panel Todo account at any time. This action cannot be undone.

What Gets Deleted

  • Your user account
  • All projects
  • All issues and comments
  • All sprints
  • All tags
  • All API tokens
  • Subscription (cancelled, no further charges)

What's Not Affected

  • Local todos: Remain in VS Code workspace
  • Payment history: Retained by Stripe for legal compliance

How to Delete

  1. Go to panel-todo.com/account
  2. Sign in if needed
  3. Scroll to "Danger Zone"
  4. Click Delete Account
  5. Confirm by typing your email
  6. Click Delete Forever

Before Deleting

Consider:

  • Export your data: Download everything first
  • Cancel subscription: Automatic with deletion
  • Sign out of devices: Tokens invalidated automatically

GDPR Right to Erasure

Account deletion fulfills your GDPR right to erasure. We:

  • Delete all personal data
  • Remove from all backups within 30 days
  • Cannot recover data after deletion

Re-registering

After deletion, you can create a new account with the same email. The new account will:

  • Start fresh with no data
  • Require a new subscription
  • Have a new user ID
